Barry Gallagher Chartered Architect has been working in private practice since 1973. Over this time he has successfully delivered many projects including:
Bespoke Housing | Healthcare | Restoration/Refurbishment | Social Housing | Industrial | Sustainable Design | Commercial | Ecclesiastical
With over forty years experience in the ever developing arena of architectural design Barry’s experience and expertise is unsurpassed providing clients with buildings that are future proof and fit for purpose. The calibre of Barry’s work speaks for itself with commissions and many sectors calling upon many different skill sets to resolve issues through carefully applied specification.
“People find it difficult to look at a building and know the complexities of assembling large scale structures. In my profession we are ultimately responsible for one of the most significant purchases a client makes in their lifetime. You have to know that your dreams are being cared for by a professional who can bring you vision for living to life. I’ve seen specifications alter dramatically during my career and I’ve seen working practices change too.
I’ve often seen low quality workmanship and incorrect material specification leading to poor building performance.
In many cases these important aspects, when not applied with due diligence, impacts on building performance forever. With that in mind I started to develop a system that directly addresses these issues and can provide high energy efficiency and zero carbon builds using existing skills through careful specification and on-site training. This is the ZeroHome System – The Professional Sustainable Build Management System.“
